The Texoma Health Foundation (THF) is creating a culture of mental well-being across a four-county rural service area in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. We hope to inspire change and promote health at home and around the world with a rural model of excellence and a community that thrives.

The Foundation administers…

Grants to area nonprofit organizations with a focus on prevention, education and direct services that move THF’s mission of supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents with a priority on behavioral health and health workforce.

Place-Based Philanthropy is a newer form of grant-making at THF that takes charitable dollars within a foundation and leverages them to impact a critical need in the community. The goal with place-based philanthropy is to have a significant impact that is not typical within a foundations’ giving. The Texoma Health Foundation Park for Health and Wellness focuses on social determinants of health through the built environment. The 80 acres include an extensive network of trails, open spaces, sports facilities, and organized programming for residents of all ages and abilities to increase community connection and create a positive impact on mental and physical health across the entire region.

Reba’s Ranch House. Reba McEntire’s only named charity: Providing hope, warmth, and home to caregivers across the globe who have a loved one hospitalized in THF’s four-county service area. Reba’s Ranch House has 12 bedrooms, a kitchen, library, children’s playroom, and playground, and is staffed 24/7/365. Since its inception, over 30 years ago, Reba’s Ranch House has opened its doors to over 35,000 family members.

Community Collaboration and Texoma Giving Partners. Texoma Health Foundation and those invested in the well-being of the region can make a difference by utilizing, providing, or sharing available resources for a happier, healthier, and hopeful Texoma.
