The Sapelo Foundation (sapelofoundation.org) is a Georgia funder that has revamped its vision to specifically call-out rural communities for inclusion in their mission of A Just Georgia. One of their highlighted practice points is working across the rural-urban continuum. While many funders are moving in this direction, few are as explicit about where they are going!
